"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."‍ ‍

Catherine Rybicki, MA

Psychological Counselor  ·  Geneva ·  SGfB · ACA

As a psychological counselor and third-culture kid, I bring both personal and professional understanding to the emotional and psychological experiences of those navigating diverse and complex lives.

Born in South Africa to Polish parents, I spent my formative years in the USA, Taiwan, and Singapore. For the past 20 years, I have made my home in Geneva with my husband, our two children, and our German Shepherd dogs.

Having lived across countries and cultures — as a child, spouse, parent, and professional — I have developed a deep appreciation for the complexities of change: cultural, relational, and internal. I understand how transitions shape one's sense of identity, belonging, and well-being, and this understanding is at the heart of how I support adults from diverse backgrounds facing personal, emotional, or psychological challenges.

What drives my work is a genuine curiosity about people — their stories, their strengths, the challenges they carry, and the meaning they seek. I am committed to creating a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard.

I offer individual counseling in English and French, drawing from an integrative, evidence-based approach tailored to each person's unique needs.

We are all complex, multifaceted, and capable of growth.
